NEW DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

GENERAL INFORMATION
From the Scientific Committee of the 3rd European IAAS Congress / 13º Congreso Nacional de ASECMA / IX Congreso Ibérico de CMA, we believe in the exchange of experiences and knowledge through the expression and discussion of the results of our research and clinical observations. For this reason, we wish to give special importance to the presentation of scientific communications, devoting our greatest effort on organising, evaluating and presenting them.
Therefore, we invite and encourage you to submit your abstracts.

Please read all the information carefully before sending your communication.
SPECIFY THE CONGRESS
Please, select the congress where you wish to submit your abstract.
There are two options:
  • 3rd European IAAS Congress
  • 13º Congreso Nacional de ASECMA / IX Congeso Ibérico de CMA
OFFICIAL LANGUAGES
  • 3rd European IAAS Congress.The official language is English
  • 13º Congreso Nacional de ASECMA / IX Congeso Ibérico de CMA. The official languages are Spanish and Portuguese
There will be no simulteneous translation
SUBJECT AREA
The Scientific Committee has established the following subjects for abstract submission:
  • Anaesthesia
  • Surgery
  • Nursing
  • Management and Quality
  • Miscellaneous
TYPES OF COMMUNICATION
The Scientific Committe has established the following types of communications:
  • Oral
  • Poster
  • Video
  • Indeterminate. The delegate submittes the abstract and the Scientific Committee will assign the type of presentation
AWARDS

From all abstracts accepted, the Scientific Committee will select the best ones per category (Anaesthesia/Surgery/Nursing/Management and Quality/Miscellaneous) as candidates for the Best Communication Award

These selected communications must be defended orally at an specific session.

The prize consists in a free registration for the National CMA Sypmosium on 2021.

The winner undertakes to send a version of this work in order to publishes it in the Cirugía Mayor Ambulatoria Journal, within three months after the Congress celebration date.
DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION
Deadline for abstracts submission is on February 23, 2020.
Any abstract submmited after the mentioned date will not be accepted
GENERAL RULES FOR ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION
  • Abstracts can only be submmited through the online system on this website
  • You must be registered in order to submit an abstract. Please follow the instructions. It is an easy and intuitive system.
  • A maximum of eight authors are permitted (including the first author)
  • Number of characters allowed per abstract:
    • Title: 200
    • Objectives/Methods/Results and conclusions: 5.000
  • The Scientific Committee will inform the first author of the abstract whether it has been accepted or rejected.
  • Only abstracts of original works will be accepted. In case a partial publication of data has taken place, this must be specifically stated at the end of the manuscript.
ABSTRACT / BASIC INFORMATION

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE/REJECTION   March, 2020

REGISTRATION         The first author must be registered in the Congress before March 15.
Otherwise, the abstract will be rejected.

BOOK FOR ABSTRACTS         A book of abstracts will be published, which will includes the works received,
so the information sent by the authors will be used. 
No changes or modifications could be made.

AUTHORS         A maximum of six authors per abstract (including the first author) will be allowed

DEFENCE OF COMMUNICATIONS         In order to keep the established schedule regarding the oral communications,
a clock face will be projected on the main screen.
Once the time is over, the microphone will be switched off and the Congress image will be projected
on the main screen.
